2026 FACTION ATHLETICS CARNIVAL PROGRAM

Please see below some important information to help on the day:

Students to wear their faction-coloured shirt with the Liwara Sports Uniform.
A sausage sizzle lunch for students is available for those who have pre-ordered.
Spectators’ area will be in the middle of the school oval at the Early Childhood end allowing viewing of the track and team game events. We ask that you please respect this space to allow the students to participate in the events without interference.
A reminder that parents are welcome to take photographs of their child. Photographs capturing the image of other children must not be shared or posted on social media platforms without the consent of the child’s parent.
Students will remain in their faction bays but may sit with family during the lunch break, however the duty of care is then with the parent during the break.
During the lunch break we will also welcome volunteers for some spectator fun, including the ‘Toddler toddle’, ‘Dad dash’ & ‘Mum’s masterclass’.
Year 6 parents & friends will also be invited to take part in a relay event against the Year 6’s to finish the carnival.
Children may be taken home from the oval by parents. You will need to check in with your classroom teacher at the end of the carnival before taking your child. If parents would like their child to be collected by another parent, the school needs to have your written permission for this to occur by the day of the carnival.
