Child's Morning Prayer
As I begin my new school day
To You, my God, I come and pray.
Please help me do all that I can
To listen well and understand.
Help me be quiet and obey
All the rules throughout the day.
May I do my work well and then
Good grades from teacher always win
In everything and every way
Bless me at my school today.
Amen

FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Caregivers
Welcome Back
We’re thrilled to welcome all our students, families, and staff back for a brand-new term filled with learning, growth, and exciting opportunities. We hope you and your families had a restful and joyful school holiday. It’s been wonderful to see our students return with bright smiles, ready to embrace the new term with enthusiasm and energy. As we begin this journey together, we look forward to a vibrant calendar of events that will enrich our school community.
This term promises to be especially meaningful as we engage in our Sacramental Programs, supporting students in their spiritual development and faith journey. We’re also excited to see our talented students shine in the Catholic Performing Arts Festival, showcasing their creativity and dedication through music.
Let’s embrace the term ahead with enthusiasm, kindness, and a commitment to excellence. We can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together!
Celebrating the Year of Hope – Jubilee Year
This term, we are excited to continue our journey through the Jubilee Year of Hope. Staff spent their first day back at school in reflection, renewal, and celebration facilitated by our RE Consultants from CEWA. Throughout the year our students will continue to be engaging in activities that highlight hope, kindness, and community spirit. We encourage families to talk with their children about what hope means to them and how they can share it with others.

Holiday Highlights It was heartwarming to hear how much our students enjoyed their holidays! From road trips to sunny spots and family barbecues to quiet reading days and creative projects, the stories they’ve shared have brought a lovely sense of joy to our classrooms. We’re proud of how they’ve returned with a positive mindset and readiness to learn.
Thank you for your continued support. Let’s make Term 3 a time of growth, hope, and community!

CHILDREN'S LITURGY VOLUNTEERS - PARENT HELPERS NEEDED
We're seeking parent volunteers to join our All Saints Greenwood parish children’s liturgy team! We need extra helpers to support our group leaders in supervising young children during the Sunday 9:30am Mass children’s liturgy sessions. Typically, we ask for a commitment of just one Sunday per term. Volunteers will need to secure a Working With Children check, and we’re happy to assist you with the process. If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to have you—please text Bianca at 0418 986 893 to sign up!
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS

All Saints Parish, Greenwood will be holding an information night on 12th June at 7.30pm. If you are interested, come along and discover what the Church has to offer. For further information, please contact Fr Elver (0466 604754) or Juliet Southgate (0450 578679).

PARISH YOUTH MINISTRY NEWS
TUESDAY 22ND JULY
Last week at 24:7 Greenwood, we had an awesome Games Night that was full of energy and fun! We kicked things off with card games, board games, and a lively round of dodgeball to get everyone moving.
Our first group game for the night was amazing fun followed by a hilarious round of Reverse Charades, which had everyone laughing. We then played Shrinking Islands, a game that tested our agility and teamwork, before finishing the night with a crowd favourite — Guess the Song.
Next youth group promises to be even more exciting as we welcome back our Youth Minister, Lucy, from her trip to Zambia, along with leaders Patsy and Florence. We’ll also be launching our brand-new theme for Term 3!
NEXT YOUTH GROUP
At our next gathering, we’ll begin exploring our Term 3 theme: Works of Mercy. Together, we’ll discover what the different Works of Mercy are and how we can live them out in our daily lives. Throughout the term, we’ll take a closer look at each individual work, understanding its significance and how it calls us to love and serve others.
We look forward to starting this meaningful journey!
God bless,
Jesse and Lucy
